During the weekend, one of our favorite things to do is to look for lunch/brunch buffet at the hotels. Hyatt Regency Hotel serves Hi-lunch buffet during the weekend and Japanese buffet on the 3rd Saturday of every month.  The restaurant’s signature dish, Oxtail Assam Pedas – is widely acclaimed as one of the best in the country and rumors that our former Prime Minister Tun Mahathir air flown Oxtail Assam Pedas to Kuala Lumpur so he can enjoy this signature dish.

Weekend Hi-Lunch Buffet cost  RM 100nett  from 12pm to 2pm. The selection of foods is extensive and you get quality and fresh ready food on the tray. The Buffet spreads feature local and international cuisine.

Oxtail Assam Pedas is the must go to food. Taste superb and the oxtail meat is tender and falling off the bone

The buffet spread include halal dim sum. Its not easy to get nice halal dim sum in Kota kinabalu.
