Vino Vino Yakitori introduces its elegant Japanese style menu “Kushiyaki” created by its Executive Chef, Mr. Inose Kazuhiro during a session with media today.
According to Chef Inose, “Our drink-friendly Japanese joint specialises in kushiyaki which offers many ingredients such as vegetables, seafood, and beef on skewers tailored to go with sake, beer and wines. A famous type of kushiyaki is “Yakitori” – grilled skewered chicken. There are plenty go Japanese outlets in town but very few embody the izakaya spirit as us as we can offer diners a traditional Japanese experience.”
Chef Inose further presented his selection of Kushiyaki such as Tebasaki (deep fried chicken wings) Lamb, Aspara Maki (asparagus wrapped in beef), Eringi(mushroom), Okura (ladies’ finger), Yaki Edamame (soybean) and Surume Ika (Squid). “With their freshness and affordability, we have enjoyed strong demand from customers who are looking for healthy bites.” added Chef Inose.
Chef Inose’s Kushiyaki is served daily over lunch and dinner at Vino Vino Yakitori, located at KK Times Square.
At the same time, Vino Vino Bistro’s Western Head Chef, Adrian Chong is launching his latest menu, Wagyu Cheek and BBQ Beef Ribs. “Both are slow cooked over three hours. There’s nothing quite like cooking meat low and slow in the tradition of authentic barbecue to deliver the consistency, flavor and juiciness for a mouth watering dining experience with the ideal wine pairing.” Both dishes are availble for the whole month of February at Vino Vino Bistro over lunch and dinner.
“If you can’t decide between kushiyaki and beef, try out stunning and tasty seafood platter, which serves two persons. They are served fresh, and thus requires one day booking in advance.” added Chef Adrian.
Beside Kota Kinabalu, Vino Vino Bistro is operating two other outlets in Penang and Johor Bahru, and a franchise outlet in Phileo Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. Catering services available at all outlets.
