foodpanda awards the top restaurants of 2019
23 January 2020 – foodpanda (spelt as one word, all lowercase), the on-demand international food delivery service, kick starts 2020 with the inaugural PANDA CHAMP AWARDS. A total of 263 restaurants were selected for this much-coveted award. Evaluated on their performance on the foodpanda platform throughout 2019, the awards were divided into two categories; large chains and local champions. For the large chain category, the top 5 winners were chosen from across the four regions in Malaysia; North, South, Central and East Malaysia. While the top 3 Local Champion winners were selected from their respective states. “The Panda Champ Awards is a way for foodpanda to say thank you and to recognize some of our most valuable partners. These restaurant partners work closely with us to bring happiness to the doorstep of our customers across Malaysia. We look forward to having the Panda Champ Awards annually moving forward.,” said Sayantan Das, Managing Director, foodpanda . All restaurants received a winners plaque to commemorate their win.
