Hilton Kota Kinabalu recently opens their door to the public. This 12 story luxury property offering a total of 305 rooms and suites, all day dining, event ballroom and complete facilities for business and leisure travelers. One thing we are really interested in is the dining offerings at Hilton Kota Kinabalu.
There are currently 3 dining options at Hilton Kota Kinabalu, namely
Zest Cafe: located in the lobby to offer light breakfast, snacks, sandwiches, take-away cakes, pastry and drinks on the go.
Urban Kitchen: Located at the ground floor offering a globally inspired selection including local specialties and western favorites. Lunch and dinner are prepared in an open kitchen with live cooking stations, showcasing local delicacies of the Malaysian heritage cuisines (Indian, Chinese and Malay) and modern western dishes. Selection is limited and the seafood offered is not comparable to other 5 Star Hotels in Kota Kinabalu.
Rooftop poolside Bar & Grill: Located on the highest level of the hotel, the Rooftop restaurant offers grilled meats and seafood straight from the South China Sea, all prepared with light healthy accompaniments. The Rooftop poolside Bar & Grill mostly serve food for poolside customer.
On a fine weekend morning, we decide to walk-in and try the breakfast buffet at Urban Kitchen and check out the interior of Hilton Kota Kinabalu.
