After spending few days in Bangkok. We spent the last day of our trip at Hilton Bangkok. The Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok hotel is ideally located on Soi 24 in Bangkok’s trendy Sukhumvit district. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Phrom Phong BTS station, Emporium and The EmQuartier shopping malls.
Check in
As we entered the hotel, it felt so welcoming with its interiors. The interiors are actually inspired by American Prohibition during the 1930’s when Italians immigrated to America and created Little Italy in NYC. Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, with 280 guest rooms, has been wowing guests and visitors with its sensational interior design. As we are staying in the Executive suite, the friendly staff bring us to the executive lounge for our check in formalities. Wifi access is free and codes are provided for access.
There are statues of Jay and his lover Daisy around Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok depicting the love story between them The story of how they met and fall in love. Jay and Daisy first met when they were both traveling to Thailand by ship. They both moved into the hotel and spending lots of time together discovering Bangkok. They fall in love and Jay present her with 2 gemstones as a display of everlasting love.
The executive lounge on the 3rd floor of Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok. Executive room and suite guest enjoy exclusive access to the Executive Lounge where guest can enjoy complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails and 2 hours use of the meeting rooms.
Room
As we enter our suite, we were welcomed with the sight of the living room area which featured a masculine looking sofa and decor. The King Executive suite is 77sq m with full-size window at the living room and bedroom overlooking Sukhumvit road.
Our Executive Suite features a bedroom with a separate living and seating areas.
We love the king bed as its so comfortable. A Sofa is also available in the room where we got to sit and enjoy watching the 42-inch TV.
Refresh in the stunning marble bathroom, featuring bath-tub and a shower stall with luxury bathroom amenities.

Dining
We were inviting for a dining experience at Scalini, a multi-award winning modern Italian restaurant, which provides a memorable culinary experience through applying a modern twist to traditional Italian cuisine.
The open kitchen where we got to see the chefs’ craftsmanship as they prepare your meals with authentic Italian ingredients.

For appetizer, we start with Heirloom tomatoes which is served with Burrata cheese, roasted, pecans, extra vergin olive oil & Balsamic
Italian cold cuts & cheese greeting.
Seafood spaghetti pasta, seafood cartoccio spaghetti with spicy marinara sauce.
Wild Boar Ragu
Special of the house, Bistecca alla Fiolentina 20 oz. Charred grilled porterhouse steak Tuscan style, marinated with olive oil, garlic, fresh herbs and ground black pepper, blackened exterior and warm pink interior steak, medium rare cooked. served with garlic, baby spinach, baked potato and fresh lemon.
The bistecca all florentina was so delicious, juicy and it was a big slab of meat cooked to perfection. I definitely would recommend splitting it with someone if you aren’t a big eater.
Table side cooking dessert by the staff. Scalini Tiramisu which is made from mascarpone cream, illy espresso, marsala wine, lady finger and Italian biscotti.
A perfect dessert to end our wonderful dining experience at Scalini.
Breakfast
As we have executive lounge access, we can choose to have our breakfast at the lounge itself or at Scalini. We choose to enjoy our breakfast at Scalini as we love the ambiance here.
My favorite is the pastry station.
As we want to have something different after breakfast we drop by Mondo to try their Japanese Breakfast set. The Japanese Breakfast set is available at Mondo from 6.30am to 10.30am at THB 690+
food for grab and go at the lobby area for those on the rush.
