Domino’s Pizza, the market leader for Pizza delivery in Malaysia plan to open new outlets in Kota Kinabalu and Kuching next year. Domino’s Pizza currently runs 210 stores in Peninsular Malaysia and planned to open another 30 outlets around Malaysia, and they see big potential of expansion in East Malaysia.
President and chief operating officer of Domino’s Malaysia and Singapore Ba U Shan-Ting said the company was currently in the process of exploring the East Malaysia markets and require more time to study consumer behavior and prepare the necessary infrastructure and transportation before opening its outlets in East Malaysia.
“We really hope to expand our business there as we see a lot of potential in the two markets,” he told reporters after the launch of the ‘Dark Knight Rises’ campaign at Kuala Lumpur.
